EXISTING TATTOO PROJECTS:

Once we have had our first session we are good to go. The initial session sets the tone for our own unique flow and pattern as we create. At the end of our appointments we discuss plans for the next session. This keeps us on track with progress. If it has been awhile ( 6 months or more ) since your last session and you’d like to regroup or have any questions about moving forward, let’s set some time aside to revisit your project and get back on track with what it looks like to to complete ! Please reach out if you have any questions! I’m always happy to hear from you.

NEW TATTOO PROJECTS:

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BEGINNING A PROJECT

WHAT KIND OF TATTOOS DO YOU MAKE?

The style of work I do is 100% custom and tailored to the individual. Designs are created to fit your body shape to make a timeless creation of art. This means every client will have their own unique experience with the creative and design process.

I prefer medium to large scale projects that are illustrative with a twist of surrealistic attributes, colorful, full of flow and expression. I also enjoy black and grey projects and cover ups are one of my specialties. If you have existing tattoos for me to create around I most definitely take that into consideration while making the project.

I also enjoy tattooing subject matter which includes but is not limited to the following: seashells, ocean themed anything, sea creatures of all kinds, flowers, trees, the elements, sacred geometry, zodiac, human design, visual downloads from meditation, faeries, frogs, praying mantis, insects of all kinds, trolls, elves, anything fantasy, dragons, mushrooms, henna inspired, spirals, portals, birds, tarot inspired, anything magical, mythological and with an ethereal vibe. The kind of things you may or may not necessarily see in this realm.

HOW DO I BEGIN A PROJECT WITH YOU?

All new tattoo projects begin with a consultation. If you are local consultations are held in person, unless otherwise notified. If you are out of state or flying in then we have consultations over zoom. Link to book is at the bottom of this page, however, I encourage you to keep reading so that you are well informed with the process and what to expect.

If you are new to receiving a tattoo from me or if it is your first tattoo, I ask that you come prepared at consultation with some screenshots and/or references to some tattoos or artwork of mine you have seen and inspired you to get tattooed from me. This helps guide me in the direction of what drew you towards me creating something for you. I also ask that you send me any references of imagery that you would like to incorporate into your project. It can be pictures of what you like and also I appreciate when you send photo references of things you DO NOT like, as well. This also supports the direction I will take with your tattoo project. I have also had clients that want me to design projects with just their description only, no references, and in some cases, this works super great, too.

HOW DO YOU DESIGN MY TATTOO?

After the consultation, we will set up the first tattoo appointment and the design process begins. All pieces to the tattoo project unfold in real time at the tattoo session. I will be drawing directly on the skin with sharpies and sometimes a combination of drawing and stencils as well. I do not show drawings in advance. We create together and tailor this piece to your body at the appointment, so until you get to the shop and I apply the pieces to create this. The drawings don’t always make sense just by looking at a flat piece of paper and it doesn’t translate the same way as creating in real time to put the piece together. There are exceptions to this if we are referencing something specific, in which we will then discuss and use decide together. Either way, please feel at peace knowing if we don’t feel 100% about a project, we pause and revisit the design at a future appointment.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FOR TATTOO SESSIONS?

Show up at the scheduled time of your appointment. If you are running behind send me a text so I am aware. Bring snacks, beverages and layers of clothing as your temperature fluctuates during the tattoo session. Once you arrive we get you settled and begin prepping the skin and ready for the creation process. I have a 3 hour minimum and all projects take more than one sitting. ( Keep in mind if this is a smaller tattoo on the medium size, it could take as few as 2 sessions, with sometimes the 2nd session being anywhere from as little as 1-3 hours.) Due to many variables, I do not guarantee tattoo project completion, however, I do offer rough estimates when a project may be completed.

Expect to be there from 3-5 hours for your very first tattoo session to allow for drawing time. This window of time ensures no pressure or feelings of obligations looming that may add unnecessary pressure at a tattoo appointment. Expect yourself to get a great nights sleep, wake up feeling refreshed and hydrated, well fed and feeling awesome for tattoo day.

Bring layers, as body temp can vary while receiving a tattoo. You do not want to be unprepared if you get cold or too hot. Bring layers so this way you can control your body temperature for a pleasant tattoo experience.

DO YOU REQUIRE A PAYMENT TO BOOK A CONSULTATION & TATTOO?

Yes. Payments are made through Venmo. Payments hold your spot in my calendar and are non-refundable. Consultation payments go towards research, prep and product investment for your tattoo project, etc. Tattoo payments come off the day of your scheduled tattoo appointment.

Thank you for taking the time to understand the process. If this all sounds good to you, click the link below and schedule a tattoo consultation.

Looking forward to creating with you!
