FAQ’S FOR NEW TATTOO PROJECTS:
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BEGINNING A PROJECT
WHAT KIND OF TATTOOS DO YOU MAKE?
The style of work I do is 100% custom and tailored to the individual. Designs are created to fit your body shape to make a timeless creation of art. This means every client will have their own unique experience with the creative and design process.
I prefer medium to large scale projects that are illustrative with a twist of surrealistic attributes, colorful or black and grey, full of flow and expression. If you have existing tattoos for me to create around I most definitely take that into consideration while making the project.
DO YOU DO COVER UPS/REWORKS?
YES! Cover up tattoos are some of my favorite pieces! I absolutely love to cover up tattoos and\or rework existing and\or incorporate existing with new designs.
HOW DO I BEGIN A PROJECT WITH YOU?
All new tattoo projects begin with a consultation. If you are local consultations are held in person, unless otherwise notified. If you are out of state or flying in then we have consultations over zoom.
HOW DO YOU DESIGN MY TATTOO?
After the consultation, we will set up the first tattoo appointment and the research for the design process begins. All pieces to the tattoo project unfold in real time at the tattoo session. I do not show drawings in advance. Reason being is that drawings don’t always make sense just by looking at a flat piece of paper and it doesn’t translate the same way as seeing it on your body in real time.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FOR TATTOO SESSIONS?
Show up at the scheduled time of your appointment. Bring snacks, beverages and layers of clothing as your temperature fluctuates during the tattoo session. Once you arrive we get you settled and begin prepping the skin and ready for the creation process. I have a 3 hour minimum and all projects take more than one sitting.
Bring layers, as body temp can vary while receiving a tattoo. You do not want to be unprepared if you get cold or too hot. Bring layers so this way you can control your body temperature for a pleasant tattoo experience.
